SSC Scientific Assistant Recruitment 2017: In a recent notification from the Staff Selection Commission Board yesterday it has been decided to extend the last date of application submission date from 4th August to 14th August 2017. The latest notification is updated on the official website @www.ssc.nic.in.

SSC is a government organization of the Indian government authorized to recruit staff for the various positions and offices of Ministries and Department of government. The recruitment is on yearly basis and is through the competitive exams only. SSC has earlier notified on for the SSC Scientific Assistant Recruitment 2017 for the India Meteorological Department (IMD). The last date of submission of application was on August 4, 2017 however now it is extended to 14th August. The examination is on 20 & 27 November 2017.


SSC Scientific Assistant Recruitment 2017: Latest update key Points

Application Date: The last date for submitting application date is extended now to 14 August 2017 until  5 PM only.

Payment Details: Candidates can also pay the Application Fee through Challan until 18th August, however, the Challan has been generated on 14.08.2017 before 5 PM.

Educational Qualification: The Bachelor’s degree or Diploma must be of three years duration after 10+2 Examination.

Paper II update: In Paper II candidates will be having three separate papers as 1. Physics 2. Computer Science and Information Technology 3. Electronics and Telecommunications. Candidates can choose any one paper for Paper II examination.

SSC Scientific Assistant Recruitment 2017: Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Now that the last date to submit the application is extended, let us refresh you with the exam pattern and syllabus of the examination SSC Scientific Assistant Recruitment 2017 in details.

Exam Pattern: The exam will be a computer based online exam. The exam is scheduled from 20-11-2017 to 27-11-2017. There are total of 200 questions carrying 200 marks. The duration of the exam will be for two hours. The exam is divided into two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2.
