Jharkhand SSC Online Form 2017: Vacancy Details

Education details: Candidate should have a 2nd class diploma degree in Electronics & TeleCommunications engineering or Electronics & Communications Engineering. physics with 2nd class and people having a higher degree can also apply for the vacancies.

Age Limit: The age limit for the above position is from 21 years to 26 years. Age relaxation is as per the board norms.

Physical standard requirements: 

  • General/OBC: Height: 160 cm, Chest: minimum 81 cm.
  • Sc/St: Height : 155 cm. Chest: Minimum 79 cm.
  • Women category: Height: 148 cm

Application Fee: General/ OBC- 460/-; Reserved category: 115/-

Selection Process: The selection process for Jharkhand SSC Online Form 2017 Police Sub-Inspector Wireless post is through four methods namely: Prelims Test, Main Test, Physical Standards exam and Medical exam.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus: 

The exam pattern for the written test for both prelims and Main exam is as follows:

Prelims Exam: It consists of 5 sections and is for 120 marks questions for 2 hours. The sections covered in this exam are-

  • General Knowledge & Science
  • Math
  • Mental Ability Test
  • Computer knowledge test

Main Exam: This exam consists of three papers, each for 120 marks and for a duration of 2 hours. These are:

Paper I: Hindi Language test

  • Passages/ Comprehension based
  • Grammatical questions

Paper II: General Knowledge test

  • General Science
  • Mathematics
  • Computers
  • Current Affairs
  • Sports and Cinema
  • Mental Ability Test

Paper III: Professional Knowledge test

Questions will be based on the subject knowledge of the candidate based on the qualifications.
