CAT Exam 2017 is a combined Entrance Test for the aspirants who want to continue their studies in the field of Management. CAT Exam 2017 Syllabus:

A syllabus is the details of topics covered for the examination. The CAT Exam 2017 pattern is quite standardized consisting of three main sections mainly-

  • Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VRC)
  • Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DI & LR)
  • Quantitative Ability (QA)

The exam is based on multiple choice and non-multiple choice questions. The total marks of 100 and duration for the exam is three hours, one hour for each section.

Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VRC) : This section includes mainly five types of questions-

  1. Critical Reasoning
  2. Paragraph Forming (Para Jumbled Questions)
  3. Grammar
  4. Vocabulary

Reading Comprehension consists of reading and comprehension. The aspirant needs to work on the skills of reading speed and comprehending it at the least possible time. The best way is to mark all the important points while reading the passage.
